North Carolina Companion Animal Academy
What We Are About
The Academy’s goal is to provide convenient, high quality, yet affordable veterinary continuing education in a pleasant setting ... with six one day sessions, two at Holiday Inn, Charlotte University, Charlotte, NC; two at Holiday Inn, Greensboro Airport, Greensboro, NC and two at Hampton Inn, Greenville, NC. Plus two weekend Conferences at a low registration fee, 1st Flight Veterinary Conference, Kitty Hawk, NC, Ralph Lee’s Great Smokies Veterinary Conference located in the Mountains of Ashvellle, NC and NEW THIS YEAR the First Annual Sun N Fun Veterinary Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC (with discounted registration rate for NCCAA memebers). The cost of annual membership is only $275 ($335 after May 2, 2013) for veterinarians and $150 ($175 after May 2, 2013) for technician/support staff, with multi member prorated discounts for each.
This entitles each member to attend all the one day meetings at no charge and the three weekend conferences at a fee of $100 each. If you are unable to attend the one day meetings, notes will be available at www.vetmeetings.com. Proceedings books available at weekend conferences at cost.
Each of the one-day meetings held the first Thursday of March, May, September, October and November and carries six and a half hours of Continuing Education and the weekend meeting conferences carry 20 hours of continuing education credits.
